fbusThe Harvey office of Community Care Peterborough has discovered some FUNNY BUSINESS going on at the BCC in Buckhorn and is inviting the public to join in the investigation. Funny Business FLYER

On Saturday, July 29, 2017 this FUNNY BUSINESS will be unveiled when the doors open at 6:00pm with dinner at 6:30pm. followed by the hilarious entertainment of Peterborough’s own CITIOTS.  This award winning improvisational comedy group will provide ninety minutes of non-stop laughter but you have to be there to enjoy it.

Committee Chair, Brian Marshall enthused “This is bound to be the highlight of the summer entertainment season in Peterborough County.  If you haven’t had the privilege of seeing THE CITIOTS live, then you’ve been missing out on some great comedy”.

Community Care Peterborough is a group of  mostly volunteer workers dedicated to assisting the senior population and adults with physical challenges to remain in their homes for as long as possible.  They provide such services as transportation to appointments, minor home maintenance, friendly visits and meals on wheels to name just a few.  A substantial portion of the budget must come from fundraising such as this night of entertainment.

Harvey Office Manager, Lynda McKerr said “We at Community Care take great pleasure dealing with our clients but we acknowledge that we could never provide all of our programs without the support of the general public.  I urge you to come out for a night of side-splitting entertainment and great food.”

Tickets are $40.00 for the dinner and show and are available at the Buckhorn Community Centre or the Harvey office of Community Care Peterborough or by calling 705-657-2171.  The proceeds will go to providing much needed services to some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
